We’ve hosted our fair share of fundraisers, but this month’s PAWS NY event was the cat’s meow! The annual benefit, which raises money to help keep people and their pets together, was a night to remember.
As all loving pets are bound to do in a new location, PAWS certainly “marked their territory” at our venue by installing branded porthole decals, custom gobos, and pawprint spattered columns. The evening’s cocktail-style celebration featured a sponsored open bar (complete with cleverly named specialty cocktails!), delectable vegan hors d’oeuvres, a photo booth, and an impressive silent auction. .
Rachel Herman, Founder and Executive Director, spoke about the company’s mission and their continued efforts to help the city’s “most vulnerable residents remain with their pets”. Two of the outstanding PAWS volunteers were honored in front of over 150 guests in attendance.
No fundraiser would be complete without a special guest, but rarely is the VIP furry and four-legged! Louboutina, the “Hugging Dog”, had guests gushing as she posed with them in front of the step and repeat.
With all the makings of successful event, we have to say that this benefit was pretty PAW-esome!
